Hi, I’m Brittany! I am the founder and owner of Nourish Lactation Care. I am a wife and a mom. I’ve been married for eleven years. I have an awesome 8 year old son. I also love my fur babies (2 cats and one dog). I am originally from New Orleans, LA, but reside in Covington, LA.

I am a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and carry several sub-specialties within infant feeding. I created Nourish to bring a new and elevated standard of care to families. I genuinely love what I do and I am so happy to help anyone who needs it.

I have been a Registered Nurse (BSN) for over 12 years, with my primary experience being in specialty areas of hospital care: Mother-Baby (postpartum/couplet care), Lactation, Neonatal Intensive Care, and Well Newborn. Through the years, I have gained expertise in infant feeding and postpartum care. I have worked with thousands of families in my career at the bedside in the hospital, and now, in the four years since Nourish opened.

Infant feeding includes breastfeeding, bottling, infant oral motor skills used for feeding, and all other complex feeding situations. In my skillset, I have the training to care for both the parent and infant, which is vital to the success of healthy and happy infant feeding and a healthy postpartum experience for parents.

My passion is to educate and equip parents with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in this particular time of life with their babies. The first year of a baby’s life is full of rapid change for both baby and parent and that largely includes infant feeding! I help parents with goal planning, provide an understanding of feeding cases, bring parents peace of mind, and help resolve feeding issues while successfully achieving goals all through strategic individualized care plans.

Every family is unique, so it is fundamental in my practice to provide compassionate, non-judgmental care with encouragement and support and understanding.
